I got married once. Truth be told I jacked it up. As a loner type, I jack up a lot of friendships and relationships to get distance. So it didn't have the story book ending that those romance authors and Hallmark movies portray but someone once said, "Sometimes people work better together as friends."

It was a simple phrase but when she said it, it was the most profound thing I ever heard considering the situation.
